Whole House Stainless Steel Water Purifier

Whole House Stainless Steel Water Purifier

Whole house stainless steel water purifiers reduce contaminants in your home’s water supply. They can also help prevent bacteria/mold infections and chemical corrosion.

They can remove chlorine, rust, sediment, chemicals, bad taste, and odors from your household water. They can be used with both chlorinated or non-chlorinated municipal water sources.

Water Filtration

Filtering your water can make a big difference in the taste, clarity, and safety of your home’s drinking water. Whole house filters (also called point of entry water filters or POE water filters) connect directly to your home’s main line and treat all the household water. These filters remove contaminants such as chlorine, dirt, sediment, and other chemicals that can affect the flavor and purity of your home’s water. Many of these filters are designed to filter both chlorinated and non-chlorinated municipal or well water.

This Culligan WH-HD200-C whole house stainless steel water purifier is a great choice for those looking to protect their home’s plumbing and appliances from sediment buildup. It uses three stages of filtration to eliminate sediment, rust, scale, odors, and bad tastes, and also reduce chlorine, Volatile Organic Compounds (VOCs), and dissolved iron.

It is also easy to change cartridges, with a bypass valve that allows you to swap out the old filter without shutting off the home’s water supply. In addition, the water flow rate is high enough to meet most residential needs, and it has a tank capacity that can accommodate up to 20 gallons of water per minute.

One customer said that this system was “worth every penny,” noting that their showers are now much more enjoyable, and that their skin and hair no longer feel dry after washing. They also noted Whole house stainless steel water purifier that plumbing is not their strength, but they were able to install the system easily with no issues.

Water Purification

A Whole house stainless steel water purifier is a point-of-entry (POE) system that is installed at the primary water line to treat and filter all incoming water before it circulates throughout your entire home. It eliminates over 52 types of contaminants in your household water and provides a fresh, clean supply that is safer for drinking, cooking and washing dishes.

The system protects you and your family from harmful heavy metals like arsenic, copper, mercury and lead. It also eliminates dangerous bacteria, fungus and scale, as well as chemical contaminants including chlorine and volatile organic compounds (VOCs). Additionally, it removes bad flavors, odors and cloudy appearance from the water.

Crystal Quest Smart Whole House Water Filters feature a dual stage filtration process to provide maximum contaminant removal with minimal maintenance. First, a 20″ sediment cartridge removes sand, silt, rust and other suspended solids to prevent clogging and extend the life of the second filtration phase. The water then flows through our SMART multi-media blend of 2 types of coconut shell Granulated Activated Carbons with Eagle Redox Alloys (9500 & 6500) and anion exchange resin that reduces or eliminates heavy metals, chlorine/chloramine, herbicides, pesticides, petroleum and pharmaceutical byproducts. This is followed by a block of tourmaline to enhance the water and maintain a healthy alkaline pH.

The final stage removes iron, hydrogen sulfide and manganese from the water. This prevents water stains and rotten egg odor, and it extends the life of your plumbing and appliances. It also reduces your reliance on bottled water, which helps the environment and your wallet.

Water Treatment

A stainless steel whole house water filtration system is a great solution for your home and family. It reduces chemicals like chlorine and heavy metals from your water supply, as well as odors and bad taste. Stainless steel whole house systems also protect your pipes and appliances from damage caused by hard water scale. The Premiere PS-SS20PB stainless steel whole house water filter system is ideal for both hot and cold water and is designed to be a point of entry (POE) system installed at the main water line in your home. It comes complete with a Commercial Water Filter lead reduction cartridge that reduces both particulate and soluble lead. The large 1″ connections and high efficiency housings allow for maximum flow rate with a minimum of reduction in your home’s water pressure.

Water flows through a 5′ Stainless Steel mineral tank containing iron, hydrogen sulfide and manganese reducing media (CQE-WH-01197). Then it flows through a 20″ solid carbon filter that removes Volatile Organic Chemicals (VOC), herbicides, pesticides, industrial solvents, and other inorganic compounds. Lastly, it flows through the SMART arsenic reducing media blend consisting of 2 types of coconut shell granulated activated carbons and Eagle Redox Alloys (9500 & 6500) that effectively reduces trace amounts of arsenic and other inorganic contaminants including chloramines. The SMART system does not use a salt or potassium softener, which eliminates the need for harmful chemical additives to your home’s water and saves on energy costs.

Water Testing

Water testing is an essential first step to determining what contaminants are in your water supply. There are a number of test kits available for purchase that let you test the water yourself, as well as some that send the sample to a state-certified lab. The results of these tests will help you determine which contaminants are present and what type of filter system is necessary to remove them from your household water supply.

For example, the Crystal Quest Nitrate Whole House Water Filter is a cost-effective option specifically designed to remedy nitrates in groundwater. It works much like a traditional water softener and uses a charged resin to capture nitrates from your household water supply. It’s also effective against herbicides and pesticides, which often accompany nitrates in agricultural areas.

Another option is the SpringWell WSSS1. This system features a smart backwash and regeneration system that adjusts to actual water usage rather than running on set intervals, which saves both time and money. It also includes a leak detection valve to detect water leaks and shut down the system to prevent flood damage.

For those concerned about the quality of their home’s water, a stainless steel water filtration system can be a great investment. These systems can remove major impurities including Heavy Metals, Chlorine and Chloramines, Sediment and Rust, Volatile Organic Chemicals (VOC), Pharmaceuticals, Turbidity, Odors, and more. They can even extend the life of household appliances and improve your health by removing contaminants from your home’s water supply.
