GYTS Fiber Optic Cable for Aerial and Duct Applications

GYTS fiber optic cable is a steel tape armored outdoor optical cable for duct, aerial (lashed and self-supporting), and direct buried applications. Its dual-jacket structure provides rodent resistance and moisture protection.

Harsh weather conditions, unauthorized gyts-fiber-optic-cable-aerial-and-duct access, and vandalism can all affect the performance of fiber cables. By implementing protective measures and using efficient routing techniques, these problems can be minimized.

GYXTC8S

GYXTC8S is an outdoor figure 8 fiber optic cable with good moisture resistance and crush resistant performance. It is suitable for aerial use and complies with YD/T 1155-2001 as well as IEC 60794-1. Its unique figure 8 structure offers high tensile strength, making it easy to install and reduces installation costs. The figure 8 self-supporting structure also provides excellent mechanical and temperature performance.

The 250um optical fibers are positioned in the loose tube made of high-modulus plastic materials and filled with water-resistant filling compound. It is then surrounded by the steel tape armor and PE outer sheath to form the figure-8 structure. The steel tape armor improves the tensile strength and lateral compressive strength of the cable, while the PE sheath provides protection from rodent attack and mechanical damage.

The jelly filled loose tube of the cable ensures that there is a sufficient amount of excess length to minimize the influence of lateral crush, while the water blocking jelly helps protect the fibers. The figure-8 self-supporting structure is ideal for aerial installation. The figure-8 structure also provides excellent bending performance, making it a great choice for long-span communications applications. The figure-8 structure enables the cable to be used in harsh environments with adverse environmental conditions. The cable has a high tensile strength, which makes it easy to handle during installation and laying. It is also suitable for duct and direct buried use.

GYTA53

GYTA53 is a type of outdoor fiber optic cable that is used in high-capacity data transmission applications. This cable has a stranded loose tube design and a metallic central strength member, making it suitable for use in harsh environments. The cable’s armored structure also helps protect the optical fibers from mechanical damage. These features make GYTA53 a great choice for direct burial and duct installation.

The loose tube stranding technology allows the fibers to have good secondary excess length, mpo-patch-cable-assembly-line-equipments which helps keep them stress-free under longitudinal stresses. The metal strength member also offers excellent strain performance. The cable also has a double sheath and an inner moisture barrier, which help prevent corrosion in harsh environments. This cable is ideal for long-distance communication and local trunk lines, as well as CATV and computer network systems.

The core of a GYTA53 fiber cable consists of gel-filled PBT loose tubes that are wrapped around a phosphatized steel wire central strength member. These loose tubes are then filled with a water-blocking filler compound, and the entire cable is surrounded by an Aluminum Polyethylene Laminate (APL) sheath. The APL sheath is then covered by a PE outer sheath, which provides excellent protection against weather conditions. The outer sheath is also low-smoke halogen, which ensures the cable’s safety against fire and environmental hazards.

GYXTW53

GYXTW53 is a type of armored and sheathed central loose tube optical cable suitable for aerial application or direct buried or ducting. It is mainly used in the communication between bureaus, metropolitan network and access networks in telecommunication. It provides high-density fibers with good tensile performance and good temperature characteristics. It also has precise control of the fiber residual length to protect critical fibers.

The 250mm optical fibers are positioned in the loose tubes of high modulus plastic materials, and filled with water-resistant filling compound. A steel wire, sometimes sheathed with polyethylene (PE) for the cable with a high fiber count, is located in the center of core as a metallic strength member. The loose tubes and the steel wire are stranded together to form a compact and circular cable core, which is then covered with a PE inner sheath and longitudinally coated with PSP. The PSP is then sheathed with a PE outer sheath.

The double sheathing increases the protective performance of the cable, especially in relative harsh environments, and is characterized by excellent pressure resistance, bulletproof, rodent bite prevention, and moisture proof. The steel tape armour layer also enhances the anti-side pressure and tensile performance of the cable. The loose sleeve is filled with special ointment to protect the critical fiber, and the whole cable is helically wrapped with a steel tape armor layer.
